What to Do in Buenos Aires

If you have sometime between your arrival and the wedding, you should definitely explore the city! Here are our must sees:

Attractions:

  • Teatro Colon: The ‘Colon’ Theatre, is one the best theatres in the world. You can visit it to see the architecture or you can watch a show. Website: https://teatrocolon.org.ar/ Even if you aren’t into theatre, we highly recommend you go visit.

  • Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo: Translates to ‘The Museum of Decorative Art’. This is a stunning building where you can see the traditional ‘old money’ style of Buenos Aires. You can walk around yourself, or go on at 4PM from Wed-Sun for a guided tour (no pre-booking needed). We recommend you go visit, and either start or finish off with some food either for breakfast or lunch at Croque Madame, the Museum's cafe.

  • BA Bus: Buenos Aires has a tour bus that takes you around the must see attractions of the city, and its the best way to see all the mains spots in one day. We took this bus in 2018 during Jack’s first visit to Buenos Aires, and it was great.

Restaurants:

  • Best Restaurants to Try:

    • Happening - For the best local steak

    • Gardiner - A local favourite

    • Fabrics Gourmet Sushi - typical Argentinean

    • Osaka  Nikkei Cuisine - Peruvian x Japanese fusion
